Smart Choices are delighted and grateful for the support and continued funding from MOPAC. Amongst many activities the Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime works to prevent crime that harms children and young people. By commissioning, supporting and funding charities like ours, MOPAC has built a network of programmes that protect children and young people through a wide range of activities that you can find more details on by clicking on their logo.

"Newham Youth Offending Service have been working with Smart Choices for four months, having first commissioned them to work with a cohort of our young people over the summer holiday, as part of our annual summer programme.

The feedback received from our staff who were part of the sessions, and from the young people themselves was excellent, and we were pleased with the content of the sessions and the impact Smart Choices had on our young people.

They were able to engage our young people on a virtual platform due to COVID restrictions and enabled them to consider their actions and explore their identity.

Newham YOS have continued our relationship with Smart Choices, who continue to work with a new small cohort of our young people this term and we hope this to be an ongoing relationship between our agencies.

We continue to share a joint vision whereby young people are the fabric and future of our society, and our interventions should shape the citizens of the future accordingly."
